The Tornado Project

| The terrifying sounds, the close calls, the acts of kindness, the bizarre rumors and tall tales, the history lost and the history made - the St. Peter tornado of 1998 was full of drama. Now, director/playwright Amy Seham and a group of Gustavus students will write and perform an original performance project to commemorate the event and remember the stories. The piece will be created from personal narratives gathered from the community along with improvisations, multi-media elements, and collaborations with Gustavus poets, writers, dancers and musicians. The Tornado Project will be a unique theatre event - of, by, for and about the Gustavus and St. Peter communities. |
