About Me!

My name is Anne George. I'm currently attending Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. I'm an elementary education major with an emphasis in Language Arts. I'm originally from Plymouth, Minnesota (a suburb of the Twin Ciites). I live there with my Dad, Mom, brother Adam, and two dogs, Scooter and Taffy. I graduated in 2004 from Maranatha Christian Academy, which I attended for thirteen years!! I recently got accepted into the education department here at Gustavus. I'm really looking forward to forwarding my dream of becoming a teacher.

Here are some other interesting, but not as important, facts about me. I like to read. This summer I started reading a mystery series with an author who shared my name - ANNE GEORGE. I initially read them as a joke, but found that I really liked them. I also love old movies - Casablanca and Sabrina are two of my favorites. AND... I am a huge country music fan. I love Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, and Rascal Flatts. Their music puts me in a great mood.

I also went to London this past summer with my Dad and my brother Adam. It was my first time out of the country. We visited just about everything in London proper, and even had time to visit Stratford-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare's hometown) which was really exciting for me. It was top on my list. My main goal right now, is to graduate from Gustavus with a degree in Elementary Education. I want to teach in a public school in the Twin Cities. In addition to that, I am up for what ever God leads me to!!
