Jonah: Jonah son of Amittai lived in this time period (during the reign of Jereboam II, see 2 Kings 14:25). The book of Jonah may have been written in the fifth century B. C. E.
Hosea: 750-725 B. C. E.
Isaiah: 742-701 B. C. E. (or possibly down to about 689 B. C. E.).
Micah: 701 B. C. E.
Zephaniah: sometime between 640 and 622 B. C. E.
Nahum: after 663 (fall of Thebes) and prior to 612 B. C. E. (fall of Ninevah)
Habakkuk: around 610-600 B. C. E.
Jeremiah: 627-after 587 B. C. E.
Ezekiel: around 592-571 B. C. E.
Obadiah: most likely sometime between 587 and 539 B. C. E.
Haggai: 520 B. C. E.
Zechariah: 520-518 B. C.. E.
Joel: unknown, but most scholars place Joel around 400 B. C. E.
Malachi: around 400 B. C. E.
Daniel: Not a book of prophecy at all, but rather apocalyptic (vision) literature. Daniel lived during the early period of Babylonian exile (597 B. C. E.and following). The events of Daniel 1-6 relate to this period of exile. The visions of Daniel 7-12 relate to the time of the Maccabean (Jewish) revolt against the Greek king Antiochus IV Epiphanes (around 170-167 B. C. E.).
