Northern Pike

Northern Pike are a relatively large freshwater fish, growing over 40 pounds, it is not uncommon for them to be the largest predator in the lake. Northern Pike have a lot of teeth so it is important to be careful while taking the hook out.

Bass

Smallmouth Bass only grow to be around 6 pounds, but pound for pount put up a very fun fight when you catch one. Bass like to jump out of the water in an attempt to spit the hook out which makes for an exciting catch.

Walleye

Walleye can get to be around 20 pounds. Walleye are difficult to catch because they are very picky about what they eat. I have found that it is easiest to catch them with thinner fishing line and a simple set up such as a jig or a spinner with some bait on it. They like deep cold water.

Crappie

Most crappies weigh around a pound however they can get up to be around 5 pounds. Crappie are on the smaller end of the freshwater fishing spectrum but are a very popular fish because they are easy to catch and taste really good.
