• FOOTNOTE 5:Lysosomes are fairly fragile and must be isolated from fresh materials. Commercial liver can be used provided it is as fresh as possible and assuming you will tolerate enzyme degradation and lower yield. Plant materials can be used, but with low yield and significantly increased contamination by membrane vessicles formed from ruptured internal membranes.
