                      Composed: Dec. 27, 1957—Aug. 18, 1958 (Cembalo part completed Dec. 1, 1958).

                      Reworked 1960 (revised manuscript score by Hainz Gottwald, LŸneburg)

                      First performance: Good Friday, March 27, 1959 in St. Jacobi, Gšttingen, Hans Jendis, conductor.
