Method Man

Method Man was one of the stand out artists on the album 36 Chambers. He rapped one of the most memorable chorus’ in hip-hop history on the song C.R.E.A.M. and was the only person to have a solo track on the Wu-Tang classic.  That was the beginning of a successful ongoing career.  Method Man was the first member of the Clan to release a solo album.  His debut, titled Tical, was highly successful both in sales and with the critics and is now considered classic by many.  The album went platinum in a hurry.  Method Man’s success lead him to join forces with Notorious BIG for a song called The What on BIG’s debut album Ready To Die.  Method Man was the only artist to collaborate with BIG on that album.

Method Man would later team up with Redman and they put out an extremely successful collaboration album titled Blackout!.  This album also went platinum in a hurry due to the witty lines and the endless humor in the songs. 

Method Man has been the most successful solo artist out of the Clan claiming platinum on four different occasions, including the album with Redman.  Method Man is planning on putting out a new album in 2008 titled Crystal Method.
