The picture that appears above is my 'Pelican Portrait' taken by Nikolas Georgacarakos in June 2009 on the MS-LA state line.

I have converted to Moodle as my means of providing electronic reserve and links to on line readings, and will no longer be creating full electronic syllabi for my course. However, in the interests of sharing ideas with the wider world, academic and non-academic, I am providing copies of my syllabi and some assignments in PDF via the links that follow.

HIS-200 Thinking Historically
HIS-220 Medieval Christianity
HIS-223 Medieval England

In January 2011, I will be teaching a revised version of HIS-229 Witches and Witch-Hunts. I will post a syllabus soon.

I will be taking an unpaid leave of absence in Spring Term 2011 and will not be on campus. I will post information on my Fall 2011 courses as soon as possible.

During Fall 2010, my drop-in hours are Thursdays from 2:00-4:00. I am also available by appointment, or contact me by email.
