Hi, I am on the faculty as Professor, College Archivist and Research Librarian at Folke Bernadotte Memorial Library. Recently I took the opportunity to step back from the administrative responsibilities I had assumed for sixteen years as Head Librarian at Gustavus Adolphus College. Earlier I held positions at Knox College and Linfield College. I have a BS, a MA (history) and a MLS from the University of Wisconsin--Madison. Scholarly areas of interest include modern German History, World War II, 17th Century New England witchcraft hunts and community reaction to allegations of child sex abuse.

I enjoy skiing, MG cars and travel. On early autumn weekends I participate in the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.
