MCS 121 Test 1
Test 1 will be given in class on Thursday, September 23.
This will be a closed-book test, so make sure you have the essential
elements of the mathematics of functions committed to memory.
You may use a calculator for numerical and graphical purposes.
This test will have problems related to the topics we have covered in
our study of Chapter 1, A Library of Functions:
- Functions and change
- Exponential functions
- New functions from old
- Logarithmic functions
- Trigonometric functions
- Powers, polynomials, and rational functions

chapter. Answers are posted outside my office.
