- This will be a closed-book examination, but you may use one new page
of handwritten notes (in addition to your exam 1 page).
There may be some restriction on calculator usage.
- What it will cover
Exam 2 will consist of problems and questions concerning
- asymptotics
- infinite series
- binomial coefficients
corresponding to material we have covered in class,
in problem assignments, and Graham, Knuth, and Patashnik's
Concrete Mathematics, especially the parts of sections
9.1-9.2, 2.7, and 5.1-5.3 that we covered.
