MCS 256 Exam 5 (Final Examination)

Exam 5 will be a closed-book examination, but you may use one new page
of handwritten notes (in addition to your previous exam note pages)
and your own completed Table of Discrete Distributions.

Exam 5 will focus on discrete probability,
but it will also have problems or questions related to previously
covered topics: sums, recurrences/induction, asymptotics,
binomial coefficientology, combinatorics,
and generating functions.
Typically the earlier topics will be related to discrete probability
problems.

We did not cover the section on inequalities and limit laws,
so questions on these topics will not be asked.
