BIO 146: Natural History of Ecuador and the Galapagos |
Course OverviewFrom January 5-31, eighteen Gustavus students joined Dr. Carlin for an adventure of a lifetime: experiencing the cloud forest, the Amazonian rain forest, the Andean highlands, the coastal mangroves and of course the Galapagos Islands. These students were selected from among 42 applicants for the class, and the resulting students were a nearly perfect 50/50 mixture of two kinds of students:
