As a librarian at Gustavus, I provide reference service, teach library instruction classes and liaison with the Classics; Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies; Political Science; and Religion departments. As the Systems Librarian, I oversee the library's integrated library system (ILS). I also serve on several library and campus-wide committees. My research interests include open source software and the future of the catalog, information literacy, library anxiety, and future trends in article databases. I am especially interested in the scholarlship of teaching and learning as it relates to library and research skills.
