The Red Hot Chili Peppers debut album was produced by Andy Gill of the Gang of Four with EMI Records. It generated very little attention and did not reach national album charts. This first album featured Anthony Keidis with vocals, Jack Sherman on guitar, Flea playing bass, and Cliff Martinez on drums.
