It took the band 4 years to produce another album to follow Blood Sugar Sex Magik. After John Frusciante quit the band in 1992, the Red Hot Chili Peppers hired guitarist Dave Navarro to fill the void. This album is considered by most fans and critics to be a major disappointment. "My Friends" is the only top 40 hit from the album. It reached #27 in 1995.
