The Gamma Chapter of Zeta Chi Phi Multicultural Sorority was founded on December 4th of 2004 by 8 Gusties who had realized that the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College’s greek life needed to have a bit of diversity. They felt that this group would bring a focus on multiculturalism to the campus.

After discussing what they had found on different sororities they had narrowed their choices down to three different sororities, and found that Zeta Chi Phi was the best sorority that would provide for what they were looking for. Zeta Chi Phi strives to promote multiculturalism, education, democracy, loveliness, integrity, and community service that all fit in with the ladies of Zetas interests and needs.

On October 16th of 2004 the ladies were inducted and began to seek out new members that would fit right in with the ladies of Zeta Chi Phi. However, throughout their process, there were many different obstacles and barriers that they had to try and conquer. Though, with their personal strength and commitment - along with the help of the Gustavus Administration, the ladies of Zeta were able to finally overcome their problems and become a true sorority.

To fulfill the requirements to become a Zeta Chi Phi, the ladies of Zeta had travelled with their peers down do Dallas, Texas. Because they had travelled, the ladies had developed stronger bonds and relationships with the girls of their chapter - along with the future sisters of Zeta. December 4, 2004 is when they were finally active members in the Zeta Chi Phi Multicultural Sorority Inc. They were now part of the Gamma Chapter of the Zetas and were thus recognized in the Gustavus Greek community.

The ladies of the Zeta Chi Phi sorority strive to increase the popularity of their common interests as well as maintaining a vast commitment to multiculturalism, education, democracy, integrity, community service and loveliness.
