Personal Paragraph
My name is Morgan Mueller. I grew up in a diverse town in southeastern Wisconsin named Kenosha. Since this was a town full of many cultures, I interacted with different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. Being raised in Kenosha, I have learned that there is no reason for racism. Everyone is the same on the inside no matter what you look like on the outside. For this reason I have personally decided I do not want my kids to grow up without diversity among their friends, schools, and the neighborhoods. Being around different races taught me about how, in the adult world, people must interact with everyone even people of other races. I believe it is an important aspect of life to learn about and be around different cultures.

Race Matters?
My name is Stacy Boesch and I am a student in Professor Wittenstein’s first term seminar. The seminar is entitled Race Matters? In this seminar, the class reads and discusses topics related to race and ethnicity. As well as reading and discussing, the students in this seminar also share their personal experiences with race. I am from a small town in Minnesota named New Ulm. New Ulm and its surrounding area are not very ethnically diverse. Due to this lack of diversity, I have not had a many experiences with people of different race or ethnic culture. This seminar has been a great opportunity to learn more about other races and ethnic groups. I am looking forward to helping with the Arab American portion of the web page so that I can learn about another ethnic group and expand my horizons. Now that you know more about me, make sure you visit the Arab American portion of the Race Matters? website.
