Your assignment is to reflect on the influences that have shaped your attitudes towards rural life, small towns, suburbs, and central cities.  Construct a family tree diagram going back at least as far as your grandparents and indicate for each person their residential locations.  What comes to mind when you consider these varying living environments.  You do not have to write about all six types but should write about at least two.  Consider the role of news media, television, film, music, and your own experiences in shaping your attitudes.
