Do exercise 2.7, p. 38.
Do exercise 2.21, p. 45. (Part (a) is not intended to be difficult or profound.)
Do exercise 3.15, p. 70. In part a, you can just show the steps that involve applying f or g to a number, for example (f 2) or (g 2), rather than needing to explicitly show the steps involving subtraction of 1, testing for equality with 0, etc. If you have trouble with part c, re-read page 51. (If you then still have trouble, please ask me for help.)
