MCS 178: Introduction to Computer Science II (Spring 2011)

Submitting Code


For ease of our grading, we want you to use Moodle to submit your code. You should go to this site in another window or tab, and then follow the instructions below for submitting files using Moodle, or for removing submitted files, should that be necessary.


Submitting files

  1. Click on MCS-178 Introduction to Computer Science II (Spring 2011) under My Courses.

  2. Find the project you are trying to submit in the Weekly outline. For example, Project 1 look like this:

  3. Click on "Browse" to select a file you would like to submit:

  4. Once you have selected a file, the screen will change to something like the following:

  5. Click on "Upload this file" to submit the selected file. Then the screen will change as shown below, showing the file you submitted:

  6. If you have more than one file, you can repeat steps 3-5 to submit all the files. The following screen is an example of having submitted two files.

  7. Once you have submitted all the files required for the project, click the "Send for marking" button.


Removing submitted files

  1. If you want to remove a file you submitted, simply click on "X" next to the file you want to remove. It will bring up a delete confirmation screen shown below

  2. If it is the file you want to remove, click "Yes" to remove the file. If not, click "No" to cancel.
