Tuesday, November 3:  Read Grimaldi 5.1.  Don't forget to VOTE (if you can).

• We will go over finding the inverse of f(p)=7p+2 mod 26.  See if you can work backwards using the Euclidean algorithm to find the inverse yourself.
• Find a positive number n, 0 < n <26 with n congruent to -11 mod 26.
• Why do we capitalize  the initial c in "Cartesian product"?
• What is the size of the Cartesian product AxB?
• Why is the formula giving the number of relations from A to B in the blue box on the top of page 249 correct?
