Approximating Limits

In order to approximate the limit of a function f(x) at a point c, we evaluate f(c+h) and f(c-h) for smaller and smaller values of h.

To carry out this approximation, enter the function f(x) for which you want to find the limit, enter the limit point x=c, and enter the initial value for h. Then, click the button to see each successive approximation to the limit. After each click of the button, h will be divided by 100 and a new value of f(c+h) will be displayed.
