ERIC BUTORAC AND JAMIE MURRAY WIN SAN JOSE ATP DOUBLES TITLE!

Butorac and Murray beat Chris Haggard and Rainer Schuettler 7-5, 7-6(6) in the finals of the San Jose ATP tournament.  What an exciting finish!  Down 6-2 in the second set tie- breaker, Eric and Jamie won the last six points in a row!

The ATP title is a first for both players.  Last week they won the Dallas Challenger tournament, and last summer they finished second to world number one Mike and Bob Bryan in the finals of the Los Angeles ATP tournament.  Butorac and Murray have only played three tournaments together and their record is 11-1.

Jamie's brother Andy defended his San Jose singles title, beating Andy Roddick in the semifinals and Ivo Karlovic in the finals.  This is the first time in recent ATP tournament history that brothers have won both the singles and doubles titles.

Eric will continue his march up the ATP world doubles rankings, jumping from #60 to about #50 in just one week.  Next week Eric and Jamie travel to Memphis for another ATP tournament.  Parents Jan and Tim Butorac from Rochester, MN are not going to miss this one.  They are driving to Memphis with room in their back seat for two more to go with them.  What excitement!
