Matt Lundmark played his best tennis, beating a Division 1 player who was 20-7 last year at #1singles. Gustavus also won two out of the three doubles matches. Hawaii, a Division 1 team, had just returned from a two week trip which they played 13 teams including Stanford. Gustavus started practice on Jan. 30 at the Kiahuna Plantation on Poipu Beach, Kauai.
