The MIAC Men's Conference meet will be at Gustavus on April 29 and 30. All conference matches are completed and the records are as follows. (1) Gustavus 9-0, (2) Carleton 8-1, (3) St. Thomas 7-2, (4) Concordia 6-3, (5) St. John's 5-4, (6) St. Olaf 3-6, (7) St. Mary's 3-6, (8) Hamline 2-7, (9) Bethel 1-8, and (10) Macalester 1-8. St. Olaf goes ahead of St. Mary's and Bethel ahead of Macalester because of head to head wins.

Following are the tournament details that will permit you to plan ahead. Outdoor matches are at the Brown or Gibbs courts on the Gustavus campus. All indoor matches are at the Swanson Center except the 9th place match.

Parking is permitted on 7th Street below the Gibbs Courts. Vehicles parked on the road above the courts will be ticketed and towed.

A USTA official will be in charge of each match except the 9th place match. Foot faults will be called and point penalties given for Code infractions. Match introductions begin five minutes before the match time. Only five minute warm ups are permitted. Singles matches begin as opponents are available and before all of the doubles may be completed.

We will present the Arthur Ashe and Coach of the Year Awards on Friday, April 29 at 3:15 p.m. on the Brown Courts if we are outside, and at 5 p.m. on the Swanson Courts if we are inside.

The official tournament hotel is the Best Western in Mankato. The tournament rate for non-smoking rooms with two beds is $69. The phone is 507-625-9333. Our group code is TENN. The rooms are reserved for the nights of Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29. Facilities included a pool, sauna, whirlpool, and a full service restaurant.
