Research Interests

I received my Ph.D in Mathematics from Boston University where I worked with Professor Nancy Kopell. Before going to BU I went to the University of Missouri for both my B.A. and M.A.  My research interests are in nonlinear dynamical systems and their applications to mathematical biology.  The picture below shows one of my favorite toys, the Newton-Leipnik attractors.

Other Neat Stuff

·       IDEA Internet Differential Equations Activities,

·       A few notes on writing modeling papers,

·       Download the Mathematica Package GraphicalAnalysis.m

·       MathSciNet .

·       A list of Calculus Sites .

·       Check out a mathematical Fun Fact at Harvey Mudd College .

·       Clearwater Flycasters Homepage

Reading Material

Read my hometown newspaper, the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Get the Straight Dope from Cecil Adams.
