In response to the following task(s), write an e-mail to me at wolfe@gustavus.edu with the subject heading Daily 11. Propose a single topic for your oral presentation and related research paper. (List the specific activity, and the Western culture and Eastern culture you will contrast.) Attempt to find some information on your topic from reference books (like encyclopedias).

Depending on your topic, you may or may not succeed in finding reference books of use to you. That should not be a reason for concern. To the contrary, it may be indicative of a particularly interesting topic! Be sure to let me know what you've found in your e-mail.
