Go: daily assignment (Nobel)
In response to the following task(s), write an e-mail to me at
wolfe@gustavus.edu
with the subject heading Daily Nobel.
Attend at least two Nobel talks. Compose two questions, one for each
speaker. For each, you'll both state a question and give some
context. In particular, for each question,
- Write the question.
- Where did the question come from? What in the talk led you to ask
this question?
- What's the significance of the question? How would the answer to
the question impact your understanding of the world?
As usual, you should e-mail a response to the above prompt. While you
should prepare two responses, one for each of two talks, in your
e-mail you need only go into detail on your better response.
Also bring a printed copy of your responses with you to
class. In class, be prepared to initiate discussion based on
your questions.
