Warren and Donna Beck have had a strong history supporting Gustavus Adolphus College. Both attended the school together, Warren Beck graduated in the class of ’67 while Donna Beck graduated in the class of ’66. During their time at Gustavus both sang in the chapel choir where they first met. Warren Beck was also a member of the Greys Fraternity and he was an editor for the Gustavian Weekly during his sophomore and junior year. After college Warren Beck became very successful in business and is now the President/ Commercial R.E. Developer of Gerbert and Beck Inc. and the President at Galleria Hotel LLC.

    Due to his financial success Warren Beck has given back finacially to Gustavus through his generous donations. He donated 16 million dollars to Beck Hall’s construction and has also donated before. Warren Beck has served as a member of the Board of Trustees three different times; from 1986-1993, 1996-2002, and 2007-present. He has also served as chair of the board twice. He also received the Greater Gustavus Award in 1999 due to his project management efforts following the 1998 tornado. Presently both Warren and Donna also serve as chairs of Campaign Gustavus, which is a fundraising project with the goal of trying to raise 150 million dollars for the school in four years. As of September 30, 2011 they had already raised 70 million dollars.
