HPLC Performance Optimization Calculators

The web-based calculators described below are based on the theory described in a recent publication in Analytical Chemistry (link); the mathematics is sufficiently simple that anyone can do the calculations in a simple spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel, but this web-based interface is provided for those who lack the time and/or expertise to do so.  We welcome feedback (email link)!

Consider the following approaches to optimization, and the links will take you to dedicated pages for specific calculators.

Goal 1:  Calculate column length and eluent velocity that will maximize plate count for a specified particle size and desired analysis time (link)

Goal 2:  Compare two conditions (for a specified particle size) and plot Poppe curves for each condition on one plot (link )
