Christ Chapel was built in 1961 by the architectural firm of Setter, Leach & Lindstrom of Minneapolis. It cost Gustavus Adolphus $750,000 to build in 1959
 
The buildings at Gustavus Adolphus College have changed immensely. The campus has suffered everything from fires to tornadoes. Structures have been erected, renovated and remodeled to make the Gustavus Campus appear as it is today.
